SCIENCE TO BANKING

Assalamualaikum to all readers.

After a long time do not update any post about myself, today i decide to share with you about my feeling, for studying science in diploma and banking in degree.

Actually I am a SCIENCE STUDENT which is from my high school learn all matter about science, biology, chemistry and physics. But in my degree I've got Bachelor of Business Administration (Islamic Banking) and i decided to follow the course given to me.

Of course in the beginning of semester, i feel confused, flustered, always thinking negative.
The question that always 'running' in my head are:
  • What I'm doing here?
  • Why I'm doing this?
  • What the hell course about?
I don't ever think that i will learn account, management and all the things.

But after a few moments i think, maybe this is the best for me because I'm not a student that always score in my exam. Only got 3.00 for my cgpa so why not i try and study in a different course other than science.

And here I am at UiTM Segamat, Johor studying Islamic Banking. Alhamdulillah here i find many senior that have the same experience like me, so they always advice me to 'move on' from science.
After a few months i stay here, try to love the banking stuffs, i think its not harder than science that i learn before. Some big difference that i can feel when i studied in this course are the timetable is not  packed as we are in the science course. In science, we have laboratory practical that 6 to 8 hours per week and it always consume most of our timetable, right? Also does not need to handle the lab report stuffs anymore because in banking, there are no such thing that we called lab practical because we do not do experiment.

So for those who have the experience or maybe will face the thing like me, don't scared or fright to try a new course or subject. InSha Allah, we can bear it. Banking is not hard as Science, so Science can score with flying colours.

This advice is for the Science student only, if student from other course facing the same situation like me, just carry on and keep your head up.

If you think you can do it, of course you can do it.

Don't worry if you cannot make it in the end, at least you try.

With love,
Hani
